Basically what happens when Pooh and Tigger are being washed (and dried).
Antoinette: “Naney, no Pooh macheen. Patay. (Don’t put Pooh in the washing machine. He’ll die.)”
Me: “No. Maligo ra si Pooh. (Pooh will have a shower).”
Antoinette: “No macheen. CR lang. Shower man. (Not in the machine then. Let’s bring him to the comfort room. There’s a shower there).”
Me: “No. He is too dirty.”
Turns on washer as Antoinette cries.
Antoinette: “Kulah, kulah, Pooh patay. (Nicholas, Nicholas Pooh is dead!)”
Nicholas: “It’s okay.”
Antoinette: “Not okay! Tigger patay. (Tigger is dead!)
Nicholas: “Noooooo Mama. Noooo. No patay.”
Fifteen minutes of wailing happened. Had to show them that Pooh and Tigger were just swimming inside the washer and were not drowning.
Antoinette: “Okay. Nahan ko. (I like it).”
