The concept was to make them models of the two newspapers I write for – Philippine Daily Inquirer and Cebu Daily News.
Already, the room was showered with so much cuteness when they arrived.
But as it turned out, my little girl Toni fell asleep after two straight hours of posing for the cameras of her four godmothers so the responsibility laid on Nick’s dimple. Haha!
At the Cebu City Marriott Hotel, their four godmothers (Eva, Payi, Doreen and Charmie) transformed the bath tub to a photo studio using white pillows and white towels. This is the second official photoshoot of the twins and our set-up has never been so elaborate and extravagant. We made do with what we have and using the creativity of the fairy godmothers, simplicity becomes rare beauty.
Check out how Nick revolutioned the concept of “learning more and being more” by “eating” the Philippine Daily Inquirer. This may ensure faster absorption by the brain and the body of news and current events. Hahaha!
I ended Saturday with an hour visit to Fullybooked after the prodding of my friend, Jessie. I looked for books by Dr. Seuss as I was enlightened by Jeff’s Dad Speak: What makes a great story. His books are for early readers so I am thinking it will be good to expose the twins to them now that they are six months old. At Fullybooked, I found a package of 12 books worth around Php 4,000. But I don’t buy an item (or items) right away because they’re just there so I called Jeff and asked him if he can go to Amazon.com and check if there are any Dr. Seuss book bundles offered online at a lower price. He found five hard-bound books sold at less than Php 1,000 and there are other book bundles available. I will check how to go about the orders tomorrow (Monday). Hey, several books are on 20% markdown rate at Fullybooked so if you are inside Ayala Center Cebu, you might want to drop by the store.
Because we spent more than half of Saturday yesterday taking pictures, let me end this rainy, lazy Sunday post with some photos taken by Mary Faye Alodia Villar a.k.a. Ninang Payi to the twins.
Here’s to a restful Sunday!
