Reading to a big group of children — “big” being a relative word — entails careful selection of a story in which the text are not long and verbose. Food+Stories+Books: The Monday that was in Barangay Taptap

We passed by the children, in their white and blue checkered uniforms, on our way to the gymnasium of Barangay Taptap for “Food+Stories+Books,” a three-in-one event which marks the second initiative of Cebu Nanays for Nanays  since its inception just last May 2018.

How we spent Php 6,000 on a family trip to Tabuelan

I had a list of activities lined up for the twins’s fifth birthday and one of it was an overnight stay in Tabuelan, a municipality located 103 kilometers from Cebu City, which boasts of white sand beach and laidback vibe. The goal was to spend P6,000 for the Tabuelan trip for a family of three adults and three children.

We stayed at the Golden Prince Hotel and Suites on the day of their birthday and then left for Tabuelan on a Monday to avoid the weekend crowd.
