The plan was to just spend time at SM Consolacion but homeschooling allows us to pursue spontaneous learning moments.
We discovered that there’s a Mr. DIY store along Cebu North Road in the Consolacion/Liloan area here in northern Cebu. So we took a cab from SM to Mr. DIY and spent 40 minutes there. Each child had P100 as shopping budget and they did pretty well in maximizing the fortune they were dealt with.
It took forever to hail a cab or a GrabCar so Toni said we should walk. The brothers accepted her challenge.
What followed next was an unexpected lesson on road safety and carinderia food. We walked for 10 minutes covering 2.5 kilometers of that portion of Cebu North Road.
I will write more about this as we fix and recalibrate our study guides over the weekend.
