We can’t afford to include pork or chicken in this dish with a 20-peso budget so we’re using an egg. One large egg is sold at P8 at the sari-sari store near you.
- P2: garlic
Yes, you can buy retail for this amount. You will get four to five cloves.
How to cook this?
- Prepare all ingredients.
- Best to have mince garlic and then slice your sayote thinly.
- Heat cooking oil in pan.
- Sauté garlic, followed by sayote.
- Add soy sauce to taste. Add other seasonings you have in your kitchen.
- Beat egg before adding to the sayote.
- Mix.
- Serve hot with rice.
